The true techno legend, innovator, and fast-mixing virtuoso—Jeff Mills—returns to BASSIANI on 7th February. As one of the visionaries behind the Detroit collective Underground Resistance and the Axis label, Mills laid the foundation for the techno movement. Known as The Wizard, his creative universe draws deeply from the extraordinary realms of the future and the vast imagination of science fiction. Joining Jeff Mills is Nebbieri, known for her raw, relentless sets that channel the socio-cultural currents of everyday life; Zitto, the driving force behind Bassiani Records, brings his signature dark and uncompromising sound; and BMI, a core member of 3suli, Soulvent, and Octachoron. HOROOM is set up with the true music digger and master of building momentum on the dancefloor, Dito; queer-feminist artist and activist Sophie Phare, whose musical identity was deeply shaped by the impressions of the Black Sea coastline; Sevda, a producer whose years of creative exploration draw inspiration from the unique cultural and political fabric of the city, manifested in projects like Oimaccta and OTHR; and Seqta, a Tbilisi-born, Berlin-based producer whose soundscapes fuse trance, EBM, and acid house, culminating in ultimate dancefloor anthems.
