One year ago, a signal began broadcasting out of Tbilisi warm, groove-driven, unapologetically rooted in disco and house. That signal was DILA, a radio platform and culture hub born from a simple but powerful belief: Georgia has a sound worth sharing with the world.
Curated by @vakomey and @haverdi__, DILA didn’t just arrive as another online radio show. It arrived as a statement. A Thursday night ritual. A weekly invitation to tune in, move, and feel connected to something bigger than any one dancefloor.
DILA describes itself as a Disco/House Radio, a Culture Hub, and a home for Thursday parties but those words only begin to tell the story. What the platform has quietly built over the past twelve months is something far more meaningful: a bridge between Georgia’s vibrant underground and the global house music community.
From the very beginning, DILA committed to quality. High-production streams, carefully considered lineups, and a curatorial vision that refused to treat Georgian artists as secondary to international headliners. Instead, the platform placed local talent alongside DJs flying in from France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Portugal, Finland, Armenia, the UK, Mexico, Estonia, Spain, and beyond treating every set as equally worthy of an international audience’s attention.
That decision mattered. In a landscape where so many cities still struggle to be taken seriously on the global stage, DILA’s approach sent a clear message: Tbilisi is not catching up. Tbilisi is right here.
The house and disco world is vast, with established nodes in London, Berlin, Paris, and New York. But the geography of club culture has been shifting, and platforms like DILA are part of that shift.

By streaming consistently, by booking artists with intention, and by fostering a community around every broadcast, DILA has made Georgia’s name show up in playlists, conversations, and lineups far beyond its borders. Listeners tuning in from across Europe, Central Asia, and further have discovered Georgian DJs through DILA’s streams and those Georgian DJs have found new audiences they never would have reached through local gigs alone.
This is the real currency of what DILA has been building: visibility, credibility, and a growing sense that Tbilisi deserves its own chapter in the global story of dance music.
The Artists Who Made It Real
A platform is only as strong as the people who believe in it. Over the past year, DILA has been trusted by an extraordinary range of artists local legends, emerging voices, and international guests who showed up, played their hearts out, and helped define what DILA sounds like.
Each of them contributed something irreplaceable. A deepened groove here, a euphoric peak there, a late-night set that turned into a memory. The full roster of artists who have graced DILA over its first year:

The Signal Keeps Broadcasting
One year in, DILA has proven that a culture hub born in Tbilisi can genuinely broadcast worldwide not just in reach, but in spirit. The platform has shown that consistency, quality, and community are the ingredients that turn a Thursday night stream into something that resonates far beyond a single city, a single scene, or a single year.
The first year was just the beginning. The signal is strong, the dancefloor is waiting, and Georgia’s name in the house music world keeps growing louder.
See you Saturday.
